Japanese Cultural Group SVCV, Inc to Be Launched in 2027

NEXROC is Building a Global Cultural Powerhouse for the Future.

The NEXROC Group ("NEXROC" or "the Group"), a diversified holdings and asset management firm from Japan, is preparing to launch its entertainment and fashion holdings SVCV, Inc. ("SVCV" or "the Holding") in 2027.

The group is targeting distressed companies in fashion, luxury, media, and entertainment for modernization and adaptation with the new technologies in place.

The group has chosen Tokyo, Japan, as the headquarters for the holding firm and main hub for its activities.

It expects to execute its initial roll-up acquisitions within the first quarter of 2027.

Besides acquisitions, the group will also be launching several original companies via its holding, including its own luxury house, streaming platform, marketplace platform, and others.

The holding will be managed by the group's executive team as well as a team of entertainment and consumer executives from different backgrounds in various companies in the industry.

The group is also currently under negotiations for its chief creative designer to help the group launch its luxury house and revamp its acquisitions.

Additionally, the group will also focus on intellectual property catalog acquisitions, including music and film, as an addition to SVCV's portfolio.

The Holding Company is Being Launched as a Transmedia Platform

The group emphasizes that SVCV will not operate as a mere brand and IP management firm but as an originator of content and cultural events through its multimedia approach, including films, music, events, and more.

SVCV's origin myth is based on the story The Legend of a Boy Called SAINT, an urban legend about a Japanese-Chinese aspiring artist called Hu Feng, who moved to Hong Kong in 1865 and was a victim of media erasure after radio executives falsely announced he did not exist in real life and was nothing but a folklore character.

It also draws inspiration from multiple legendary pop culture icons such as Andy Warhol, Studio 54, David Bowie, and Lady Gaga, amongst other disruptors from the past.

The group is also planning to hold multiple events throughout the years for its brands and artists under SVCV's portfolios.

SVCV leans strongly into the dark luxury and cyberpunk aesthetics, and its main priorities will be artists' creative input and personalities as its leading factor for its operations.

The group firms believe that artists should be the ones in charge of their businesses' operations and not business, financial, or marketing executives.

SVCV isn't being built around brands. It's being built around artists.

The holding positions itself as a friendly partner for founders with a unique approach to co-ownership models and emphasis on legacies over quick profits.

SVCV's broader thesis is that the next era of luxury may be built less around individual heritage houses and more around interconnected ecosystems in which fashion, content, and commerce are tightly integrated.
